I'M SARAH.
While Iâve been a professional communicator for my entire career, my early years focused on the written word.Â
So, when I had to speak in front of a room, you may have found me taking a shot in the bathroom beforehand, and slumped over my desk afterward, energetically shattered.
People thought I looked confident, but internally I was a hot mess. Then I started studying cognitive behavioral therapy and Stoic philosophy, which taught me how to manage all this drama Iâd been creating in my mind.

Stoicism, which is the foundation of CBT, taught me not to run from uncomfortable feelings, and instead to be with them and observe them with curiosity.
